Music Monday: A theme song by 3 Doors Down

I'm very influenced by music, and I like to have a theme song in mind when I'm writing a story. I'm currently working on a story about two men reuniting after 20 years apart. As I was driving to work, I heard a song by 3 Doors Down that captured the feelings of the protagonist as he reaches out to his first lover, a man he wants back more than he's ever wanted anything.

I’ve been waiting so long, just to hold you
And to be back in your arms where I belong.

That's exactly what my guy wants to say. Only time will tell if he really will.
